Understanding State PDH Mandates

Over 42 states mandate continuing education for Professional Engineers. Requirements typically range from 15 PDH annually (e.g. Texas, Alabama, North Carolina) to 30 PDH biennially (e.g. Ohio, Illinois, Georgia, Michigan) and 36 PDH triennially (New York).

Mandatory Ethics & Board Rules

Approximately 35 state boards require at least 1 to 2 hours in professional ethics, code of conduct, or state-specific rules. For instance, Texas requires 1 hr Texas Board Rules & Ethics, Ohio requires 2 hrs, and Delaware requires 3 hrs. All our state packages include these statutory credits.
