Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments: ASTM E1527 & Soil Sampling
Course Description
Covers the standard practice for conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) under ASTM E1527-21 and ASTM E1903. Environmental engineers will learn to identify RECs, HRECs, and CRECs, conduct historical records searches (aerial photos, Sanborn maps, city directories), evaluate vapor encroachment risks under ASTM E2600, and execute soil, soil gas, and groundwater sampling programs.
